Welcome to My AICE Media Studies Blog!!
Our ideas of the world we live in is shaped by the study of media studies. A larger audience can receive a message when it is presented on the media. For example, my favorite media product is television. Television films can have many underlying messages that often get overlooked. Television is my favorite media product because it is interesting to watch different genres of content. Television can be fun to watch especially for teens because we can watch fictional stories be played out without knowing the outcome in advance. The development of critical thinking about the world and society can also be developed from documentaries and mystery film.
I would like to create an adventure/mystery film based towards teens. The purpose of my film is to provide entertainment. The theme of this film will be a supernatural mystery. In order to create my film, I will need to learn how to create special effects. I expect my film to be ready for release in about 3 weeks.
Some skills I will need to work on for my film project is editing, special effects, acting in the film, and a strong plot. It is important for a supernatural mystery film to have good editing. Good editing is essential so the film flows smoothly from one scene into another. Having a strong plot will help my audience be engaged to the film’s opening scene. It also plays an important role in how the audience receives the message of the film.
