Group Research: Activity 3 Acting

 In film, an actor portrays a designated character. The actor memorizes scripts and uses mannerisms to perform their character. Good actors can keep the audience engaged by using good acting skills. The actor should imitate the exact emotions and feelings of the character they are playing. The acting should seem genuine and natural to the audience instead of forced. This will help the viewers be emotionally involved with the content. The actor needs to understand the back story of the characters so that the actors can portray the same with utmost honesty so that the masses relate to them as well. The chemistry between the two main lead is another important aspect which translates into a brilliant final product.

The actor should accurately portray their designated character's emotions and experiences so that the film can seem realistic/believable. Instead of coming across as forced, the acting should look authentic and natural to the viewer. This will make it easier for the audience to connect emotionally with the material. To depict the characters true personalities and help the general public connect with them, actors must be familiar with their backstories. 

Most times in film actors improvise without us realizing. They add lines or do gestures that weren't written in the script. It is essential casting directors hire fast thinkers that can be versatile with their acting. In a situation where an actor forgets their lines, they have to improvise instead of coming to a stop so the scene can come out naturally.
